Our mission was to make a watch that was simple, precise, and built to last. Based on this idea, we carefully chose every aspect of the watch with purpose.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Our timepieces are designed around the look of a revolver, to constantly remind us that time is our most precious resource.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Name:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n RVLVR- A palindrome intended to be pronounced as \u201cRevolver\u201d- for the obvious, we chose to spell it as such, partially drawing influence from the mid-16th century, the time period regarded by historians in which the rise of Western civilization and the Islamic gunpowder empires occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During this time, it was common practice to pronounce the letter \u201cV\u201d as \u201cU\u201d, as the letter \u201cV\u201d only came into existence with the birth of the printing press. This offers us a hidden, alternate pronunciation of RVLVR as \u201cRULUR- or Ruler\u201d fitting the bill perfectly for time instruments, which can serve to mark and measure milestones, through the journey of life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Accenting this chain of thought, the Latin term \u201cTempus Rerum Imperator\u201d translates into \u201cTime is the Ruler of All Things\u201d which induces meditation of the present moment, in its significance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With this in mind, a lot of our prior timepieces have the term \u201cCarpe Diem\u201d imprinted on them, as a constant reminder to seize the day. Although the term was made popular in the 19th century, the sentiment was known to have originated in the 16th century- in the first stanza of Robert Herrick’s 1648 “To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Customers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We’re extremely grateful to the overwhelming response of our customers.
