We’re back and very excited to introduce one of the highest quality watch we’ve made.  This is our eighth project here on Kickstarter, and we’re very proud to launch the “Sapphire Diver” series!  

This is a special project for us, and we’re going to be showcasing the first watch ever to combine a sapphire bezel with a translucent dial:

Below are the Full Specs.  Although the specs show large on paper, they wear a bit smaller due to the angles of the case.  Please note- the SD-1 will feature a different case body than what you may have seen in some of the reviews (slightly smaller/slimmer)

After months of machining and prototyping, we have modified the casing numerous times to in our opinion create the perfect wearing watch at a 43mm diameter. It wears comfortably even on a smaller 6.5″ wrist, as shown here:

We’re especially proud of the bright and beautiful lume that the SD1 displays in the dark:

We have spent a considerable time polishing and perfecting the prototype, and have gone through a few different models before finally satisfied.

Design Inspiration:

As always, our inspiration comes from the classic revolver, shown below the progression of the dial design: 

The back is inspired by the rifling inside the barrel of a gun, with the rotor colored gold tone, spinning to mimick the bullet leaving the chamber:

It took us years to find the perfect factory to partner with to provide the utmost finishing on our watches.  Here is a profile view of the Helium Escape Valve

Because of the contour of the design, the watch fits and wears comfortable, again shown on a 6.5″ wrist
