Introduction to the RVLVR AD5

“What does it take to create an iconic dive watch!?”

This has been the biggest question and goal when producing this timepiece.   After studying many well-known timepieces, we’ve narrowed down 4 key elements which make the legends of the game.  These include: build quality, excellent value, originality, and the story behind the watch.

For this project, we’re extremely proud to partner with leading firearms manufacturer- Magnum Research, and drew inspiration from their most powerful production single action 5 chamber revolver called the Biggest Finest Revolver, otherwise known as the BFR.  Together, we’re making the first-of-a-kind, limited edition watch,  called the AD5 (Automatic Diver’s 5)

 *Please note- the second hand for the production model of the AD5.B will be gun metal colored (as shown here), and NOT yellow as displayed in parts of the video.  Other minute changes may be made as well*

-The silver model will come with a rubber strap, and the black with a leather strap

Build Quality

In a never-ending pursuit of perfection, we’ve searched the world to find the best people and components to build our watches.  We were fortunate enough to partner with best in the industry and apply their expertise into producing the AD5.  After going through multiple facilities, we chose to upgrade our factory to one with decades of experience, who have produced watches for many of today’s industry leaders.

We’ve put a lot of thought into every element of this timepiece, and we did our best to pack the most value into every component.  

Not only is it enough to use the quality components, the assembly and attention to detail is what ties all the features together.  Crafts such as brushing and polishing can make or break the ownership experience.  We believe the fit and finish you’ll find in our watches are amongst the BEST in the sub $1000 price range.  

Specs 

The Dial:

 The dials are crafted out of high-quality, ammunition grade brass, and then circular brushed and coated by hand

The Bezel:

The Movement:

 For the movment, we chose to use the NH35A (by Seiko) displayed in an exhibition mineral case back.  The limited edition black model will have the “BFR” logo stamped on the back

 The Lume:

 To offer the best visibility in the dark, we used multiple coats of Swiss C3 Super Luminova, in our signature cross hair illumination pattern- a tribute to our firearms based origin.

The Crown:

The crown is also inspired by the 6 chamber cylinder, and sandblasted to perfection.  You’ll find our logo and the words “Carpe Diem” engraved in it if you look closely.  Every time you set it, it’s a subconscious reminder to make the most of our limited time!
